Tony Zhang came to DC at the recommendation of one of his partners, Michael. Them, along with Utsav and Varun worked together to bring more quality homes onto the market. This team was quite experienced in small-medium sized developments with fast building speeds and a smooth operation.

Steven Shi had known the DC team from the years both parties spent in the real estate development industry. “I’ve known Sky for a number of years in the development circle and after hearing about their speedy funding from other friends in the industry, I approached Sky and his team with my situation.”
Steven’s Silverdale project was already underway with his own equity and progressing rapidly with a building term but needed capital fast to keep the momentum going. “Typically, when the work is already underway, the process of providing work to date, work in progress and then waiting for their due diligence to finish takes too much time. I needed someone that understood all facets of real estate development to make this process as efficient as possible.”
It only took a couple of conversations and site visits to have the team catchup to speed with Steven’s project. Often many times, borrowers may get into a situation where the settlement date is quickly approaching, and the buyer is left scrambling for funds. For Coco Zhang, she had about a week till settlement was due with a gap in her funding that needed to be filled for her 5-home development project. “That was quite stressful waiting for lenders to approve a loan, the uncertainty of a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ can make a person very anxious.”
